The batter of the bread is a simple mix of mashed bananas, sugar, oil, and vanilla mixed with flour, baking powder, baking soda. Make the banana and Nutella loaf. Pour half the banana batter into the bottom of the loaf tin. Add three tbsp of Nutella on top of the batter.

  1. Heat oven to 160 degrees fan oven
  2. Cream butter and sugar
  3. Whisk in eggs
  4. Fold in flour
  5. Mash 2-3 very ripe bananas and fold into mix with vanilla essence
  6. Grease and line 2lb loaf tin
  7. Warm Nutella microwave for 20 seconds
  8. Dollop 1/3 of cake mix into tin, then 1/3 Nutella then alternately 1/3 cake mix and Nutella until all gone.
  9. Swirl through loaf tin with a knife to marble the cake mix
  10. Put into oven and bake for 55mins to an hour.
  11. Take it out when skewer comes out clean
  12. Delicious warm or cold

Using a skewer or knife, swirl the Nutella through the batter. Transfer half the batter to the prepared pan. Swirl the Nutella into the batter with a skewer or table knife. Stir the flour, baking soda and salt together in a bowl. Brown butter: Melt butter in a light-colored saucepan over medium heat.
